Preserve Our Avenue of Flags for Another Generation
Sponsor a Flag. We would like to offer you the opportunity to recognize your loved one on our beautiful Avenue of Flags. Each year, to honor our veterans who have bravely served our country, large flags line the front of Elm Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Park during Memorial Day week in May, Flag Day in June, and also the week of Veterans Day in November.

Over the years, however, our veterans’ flags have become tattered and torn, and now need to be replaced.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP: By sponsoring a space where a new 16’ telescopic flag pole and new 5’ x 8’ flag will be placed three times each year in memory of a veteran. The veteran’s name as well as yours will be recognized with a 3” x 5” memorial plaque attached to the flag pole.

You will also receive a duplicate 3 x 5 plaque as a keepsake. Elm Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Park will keep and carefully store the flags and flag poles, and place them out again at the appropriate time each year.

SPACE IS LIMITED: The first 200 orders will be placed on the Kilgore Avenue of Flags, and subsequent orders will line the entrance to our Heroes Garden.
